The Target Visa Gift Card is a prepaid debit card that can be used anywhere Visa Debit Cards are accepted. Although it has many of the same features as a regular debit card, it is not tied to a bank account. The user can only spend the amount that has been loaded onto the card. This means that you cannot be charged any overdraft fees or penalties. Because of this feature, it’s important to know the balance remaining on your gift card before you shop.
How to Check the Balance:
To check the balance remaining on your Target Visa Gift Card you will need three things:
1.) The Card Number (located on the front of your gift card)
2.) The expiration date (mm/yy)
3.) The CVV number
What is the CVV number? The CVV(Card Verification Value) is a 3 digit number located on the back of your Visa gift card (see picture below).
Once you have located all three items above, you can check the up-to-date balance by clicking HERE.
How do I check if Target Visa card has been used? I don’t have expiration date. I mailed it and it is lost in the mail. The package I mailed in in has been lost. Would like to know if it has been used. I will have to send another one for a gift soon. Post office said I have to wait one more week. They are not going to replace it I did not insure it.They are unconcerned.. “some items get lost” So I was trying to find out if it was used. How do I do that?

How would I buy things online? I looked it up on the internet and it says you need to go to the website and add your name and address on the card but I can’t find out how to do that on the website. Any advice?
Yeah I to have had trouble. I don’t recommend purchasing these cards! I’ve spent hours trying to figure out how to purchase something online and no one has been any help either. If you can I recommend returning it and getting your money back, its not worth it.
